The good news is that unemployed people in Blarney are going to get support right here in the heart of the community.The go ahead has been given for a job club to operate out of the local Community Centre at the Mills (the Gulley) in Blarney.The purpose of the job club will be to provide job seekers with real job hunting skills. Local Club Thriving

I'm delighted to see that Blarney Toastmasters Club have had an excellent start to their season. They began the season with an open night, especially geared towards guests, and the turnout was really good. Now three meetings in - their room at the Woollen Mills Hotel has been full to capacity each night, and the meetings have been alive with excitement. I'd like to let you know that Blarney Toastmasters Club meetings will resume in the Woollen Mills again every second Tuesday evening from 7.45pm to 10pm. Our next meeting is on Tuesday 22nd March and it is the clubs competition. Your local Toastmasters Clubs season re-commences on Tuesday 14th September, in the Woollen Mills Hotel.We meet every second Tuesday until the end of May 2011.If you would like to develop yourself, or just to enjoy a good evenings entertainment then check it out. Workshop Event Success

The 'Walk the Talk' life skills workshop held last Saturday Sept. 4th in the Woollen Mills was a big success. Those lucky enough to get a place on the workshops had an entertaining and enjoyable morning, as well as having a valuable learning experience.The event was hosted by Blarney Toastmasters Club with the support of the Blarney Business Association.The Toastmasters season kicks off in Blarney on Tuesday 14th of September, starting at 8pm sharp, at the Woollen Mills.
