Eoin Mc Carthy Help for Blarneys unemployed

The good news is that unemployed people in Blarney are going to get support right here in the heart of the community.

The go ahead has been given for a job club to operate out of the local Community Centre at the Mills (the Gulley) in Blarney.

Eoin Mc Carthy Local Club Thriving

I'm delighted to see that Blarney Toastmasters Club have had an excellent start to their season. They began the season with an open night, especially geared towards guests, and the turnout was really good. Now three meetings in - their room at the Woollen Mills Hotel has been full to capacity each night, and the meetings have been alive with excitement. Blarney Blog Avondhu Blackwater Partnership Driver Saves Passengers Life

 

A driver with Avondhu Blackwater Partnerships’ Rural Transport Scheme was involved in a life saving situation that resulted in a man being rushed to hospital and receiving emergency aid. Mr. Larry Horgan who has been a driver for the Scheme for several years was due to collect an elderly passenger from his home in the Tower area but when he did not show Mr. Horgan became concerned and decided to make sure nothing was wrong.
